At Tremont United Methodist Church, we believe in the transforming love of God and the power of faith to change lives. We are a community of believers who seek to follow Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, learning, fellowship, and service to others.
We believe in one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who created us, loves us, and calls us into a deeper relationship with Him. We believe that Jesus Christ reveals God’s love and invites all people to experience forgiveness, hope, and new life.
We believe that Scripture is our foundation for faith and living, guiding us as we seek to love God and love our neighbors. Through prayer, worship, and the study of God’s Word, we grow spiritually and are equipped to serve our community.
As United Methodists, we believe in the importance of God’s grace—a grace that reaches out to us before we know God, strengthens us throughout our faith journey, and transforms us as we grow in love and service.
We believe faith is not only something we practice in worship but something we live out every day. Through ministries such as prayer, community outreach, caring for those in need, and serving our neighbors, we strive to be the hands and feet of Christ in the Bronx and beyond.
